At the end of September, Tom and I are running tough mudder in what will be a fun (but probably also painful) adventure. This is a 15KM run with 20 muddy obstacles along the way!

The charity I am fundraising for is Cancer Research UK. Like most of us, there have been many close to me who have been impacted by cancer; a disease which unfairly affects so many. My dad has told me his experience undergoing treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma and all the terrible side effects that come along with this, while my sweet nonno and my stepdads lovely mum Helen are two special people we have lost from this dreadful disease. 

Last year I began to work in the Cancer Research Delivery Group at St Barts where I get to see a snippet on what goes into the long process of new cancer treatment development. Within these clinical trials, we coordinate treatment and try to support patients who get given these novel therapeutics. Not only this, I am now beginning to coordinate clinical trials within the breast cancer team. Here I get to meet and try to support so many brave and amazing women who are battling breast cancer.

I hope to fundraise for all of these inspirational individuals to raise money to continue to push forward cancer research to save and improve lives. If you can, please donate!
